You’ve grown incredibly resilient to mental manipulations. While you may experience attacks that alter your perception or other such things, it will never be able to affect who you are. Surface thoughts may be read, but anything deeper will require your consent.

Spirit

Extra-sensory perception doesn’t work well when it comes to you, and you’re resistant to abilities that would otherwise affect you as soon as you enter a setting.

The higher the difference in power between you and the being, the more effective the obfuscation becomes.

This is intended to level the playing field against greater beings and abilities, rather than anything else. It’s much less effective against uncertain methods casted by mortal mages.

Communication

You briefly connected with the collection of consciousness formed from the intelligent beings in this world. This has given you the ability to speak, read or even understand the nuances of the most common languages.

Porn Physics

You know what this is and why you wanted it. You won’t have any problems fitting or getting hard no matter the size. A snug fit, a slightly greater pleasure and holes are lubricated and clean. Refractory period doesn’t exist. Ahegao is an actual thing.

Fueled by solar energy you can generate a field around your body that can let you fly and accomplish incredible feats of strength and speed. Naturally, your senses and perception are equally increased to match your new abilities.

What’s the catch, you might ask?

See, all that power contained in a single person? You didn’t leave a lot for the others. They heal more rapidly in sunlight, but outside of that they’ve not gained much.

Maestro of Magical Girls

Be prepared for poses, transformation sequences, and incredible outfits! That’s right, your Chosen Kin have gained the power of a Magical Girl transformation, granting them abilities based on their personalities and serving as an incredible boost.

Given that your own exceptional energy pool is the source of their abilities you can wield these powers too, but you may only duplicate one Kin’s abilities at a time.

How do these powers grow and recharge themselves? Younger Magical Girls draw power from purity, but older ones gain it through repeatedly fulfilling their desires. You’re smart enough to see where this is going.

Divine Record

A spark of godliness has been embedded in your soul. Yet its power is not meant to strengthen you, but those around you. By inscribing your own blood onto someone’s back they are enhanced for every struggle they overcame since the last time you applied your blood to them. This record, or Falna, can grant unique abilities and dramatically boosts its bearer over time.

In addition your touch mends the aches and pains of those you desire. Such is the power of a holy being, eventually undoing any ailment with enough applications or lengthy exposure.

While Falna can’t be applied to yourself, that spark of divinity does give you a form of immortality. So long as one of your Chosen Kin lives you cannot die. Steadily recovering from even the most debilitating injuries.

Dragon Lord

Always be yourself, unless you can be a dragon. You now possess the power to become a half-dragon or shift into a full bodied form tied to an element of your choice (fire, ice, toxin, etc). While you’ll get stronger with age, this is a relatively slow process.

These draconic powers grow along with you and the greater your hoard becomes. Note that a hoard can include wealth, women, weapons, or anything else. But a proper hoard should be vast and impressive no matter what it consists of.

Chosen Kin attain a similar gift. Able to become draconic monstergirls that also grow mightier along with your hoard. Some bestial instincts might slip though for you and the Kin, but surely you can manage such things.

System

Introducing the classic Gamer system! A HUD, stats, level ups, inventory, skills, all that delightful stuff. While it won’t grant particularly unique abilities compared to other Archetypes, your growth will skyrocket through completing Quests. Though note each quest shall be a meaningful challenge to your current level of prowess.

This is meant to be more of an accurate representation of the world and a tool to enhance your progress; it doesn’t make your world work like a videogame.

Your Chosen Kin have access to HUD elements and other minor benefits, such as inventory, appraisal, etc but cannot use the system to level up in the same way you do. For that, they require one of your relatively rare Group Quests. A task that will require active participation from all parties.

Domain Core

Your new family home has quite the secret: it houses a living, growing Core that adapts its Domain to your vision. While initially modest, this space evolves based on your desires, whether that’s a cozy cafe, a bustling bakery or a traditional monster-filled dungeon.

As your Domain expands it will also provide you with more power, better facilities and stronger fortifications. It’s not an understatement to say that it will be destined to grow into one of this world’s mightiest places of power–as long as you manage it properly.

How? Well, your Core will draw power in a way that matches your Domain from both your visitors and its influence in this new world. Like the rest of your abilities, your minions will be suitable to your vision and grow in strength, intelligence and flexibility. And yes, homunculus maids are the default for a cafe, why do you ask?

Meanwhile your Chosen Kin gain the ability to manage your Domain and summon any of your minions to their location, ensuring they’re never without support, though ultimate control remains yours alone.

Perfect Sequence

See the perfect path to achieve any goal within 7 minutes and 7 seconds. This power shows exact actions needed for optimal outcomes, accounting for all variables within that window. Perfect for combat, immediate problem-solving, or short-term objectives. The limitation forces tactical rather than strategic use.

These prophetic powers are more specialized in your kin. Granting them key glimpses of the future instead of immediate benefits.

Uplifting Inventor

Spirits of Creation have left their mark on you. Not only has your raw wit expanded dramatically, anything you touch or craft excels in whatever role it was meant for. Swords are sharper, bottles hold more water than they should, and so on. The more involved you are in an object’s creation and the narrower its purpose the greater the effect! Naturally this also comes with a great deal of knowledge in how to put various devices together and an even greater potential for learning.

In addition to their natural intellect each Chosen Kin attains incredible prowess in several scientific fields they’d never explored before.

Sorcerer Supreme

That’s you now. Sorcery is an instinctive command of any four things that you can conceptualize as elements. This allows you to manipulate, conjure, vanish, and sense your elements, limited only by your creativity and raw magical power, though the more you understand about your element the easier it is to wield.

Each of your Chosen Kin shall also attain an element befitting their personalities. While they won’t have the sheer versatility you do, remember that quality can trump quantity every now and then.

Devil’s Advocate

You’ve been enhanced, or perhaps tainted, by the energies of a hellish realm. Becoming a sinfully attractive individual able to make almost anyone question their sexuality. And that’s just the start of these infernal delights.

With conscious effort you can now bind yourself and others with devilish deals. Make contracts for life, power, beauty, or more esoteric things. As long as it is a relatively equal exchange both parties knowingly agree to without coercion, it shall go through.

While your Chosen Kin can use this to make unbreakable deals, you alone bear the power to forge contracts for things that would otherwise be impossible to bargain.

Cultivation Cauldron

That once frail flesh and blood of yours now serves as a flawless pill furnace, your internal organs converting anything you consume into chi. All chi shall enhance you, but only rare and potent ingredients will allow the development of techniques beyond physical enhancement. If you wish to command fire, for example, you’d best prepare to kill and consume a truly fearsome elemental.

Those Chosen Kin who appear alongside you possess a similar ability, yet they convert matter into a chi at a far less efficient rate. The only exception to this is your bodily fluids. Whether that’s blood, spit, or... other things.

On a completely unrelated note, Dual Cultivation will be quite effective within your little group.

Celestial Strangeness

Some seek stability and reliable effects from their powers. Not you! Your power feeds on conflict, giving you a sort of energy pool that can be used to earn random powers.

How? Well, we’ll give you some sort of standardized system that gives you points based on conflict and all the interesting things you do. Every 100 points, you’ll be able to roll from a massive list for the opportunity to select a new power. After that, it’s your choice if you want to buy it, reserve the power for when you have enough points or keep them and wait hoping that the next time you’ll get a better power in your roll. Your starting budget is 100.

At any point you can buy any of the powers you already own to give them to your Kin, or just give it to one of them in the first place.

In most societies a family tree that loops back on itself will draw more than a few concerned gazes. But whether they’re raising eyebrows or torches and pitchforks, it’s still something you’d need to hide.

With this, you can take comfort that the vast majority of people in this new world won’t object to such behaviour.

Where before there may have been minor indicators of your relation, such as a few similar features, this purchase removes any question that you and the Chosen Kin share a bond of blood.

The change is mostly a cosmetic one, but it draws each of you closer on a spiritual level to be so similar. Truly heartwarming, and also a clear indicator to outsiders of your taboo inclinations should any of you be caught in couples’ activities.

Usually, things are tweaked just enough that your new family gets an automatic makeover per their wishes. Part of this usually includes slight adjustments which make it so you all look at least somewhat like an actual family.

Now? While their age might differ, they’ll look just like the characters you know from the source material. They get some basic benefits from the Body Perk, but no other changes to their appearance. It’s now far harder for strangers to realize you’re related, though this is far from a flawless defense.

Harems and poly relationships are not exactly rare in the myriad of worlds. However, there’s plenty of others where such arrangements can quickly spiral into some very big problems.

In your case, this won’t be an issue… so long as you keep it to your Chosen Kin or family members. While not technically impossible, if you still wish to push your luck you’ll find that your current lovers and society itself won’t let such indiscretions go unpunished.

Big Bad [+4}

There's a fast and furious group or individual with their sights set on your crew. Whatever the reason for this foul feud, these aren’t enemies you or your Chosen Kin can afford to take lightly. This opponent is deadly enough that they’re able to have your entire group on the backfoot even with coordinated effort.

They’re not gonna settle for peace, so one way or another it's up to you to show these people that nothing is stronger than family.

No Hablo Español? [+2]

You and the Chosen Kin have arrived without knowledge of current languages. Instead speaking one that is very much dead along with almost all of its native speakers.

With some luck one of you might be able to pick up the common tongue quickly, but expect them to play translator often and manage all those inevitable culture clashes for the foreseeable future.

Damned Diabolists [+2]

Turns out a cult’s prophetic dreams have made them aware of your arrival, and amusingly enough they’re convinced you’re all demons. Far less amusing is that they’ve invested a great deal of effort convincing other people of this and have met with some success.

That, and they’re preparing to bring forth actual demons in order to solve the problem of these ‘uncontrolled infernals’. Might want to get on that before they summon something even your crew can’t put down.

Cruel Clanmates [+2]

Seems the broader family beyond your Chosen Kin are less than pleasant. Perhaps they intend to pawn off your Kin in arranged marriages, force them into uncomfortable roles or are simply abusive.

In any case they’ve the power to inflict much misfortune upon you and the Chosen Kin. Take care in how you manage this, as familicide is generally frowned upon no matter how justified it may have been.

Seems your new family has been living on the wrong side of the law for several generations now. Local authorities know your name to be connected with local crooks. Good luck finding a stable job or anyone willing to offer you a loan.

Cursed Bloodline [+2]

For one reason or another it’s considered ill fortune to be born into your family. There's a good reason for that too. Whether it's a ghoulish haunting, uncommonly bad luck, or an actual curse, you can expect more than your fair share of struggles as a result.

Ending this curse in whatever form it takes is possible. Yet know that it shall sadly be beyond you and the Chosen Kin’s abilities for quite some time.

Burden of Responsibility [+2]

What have we here? Seems you’ve a younger sibling in dire need of watching over, only they’re not a Chosen Kin. No, this little one is just an ordinary child with almost no ability to fend for themselves.

Luckily the duty of care doesn’t rest on you alone, but there’s a reason they say it takes a village to raise a child. Best of luck! You’ll need it.

Wholesome Only [0]

If you were hoping for a more traditional sort of family bonding, then you can have that instead. Chosen Kin will no longer be able to feel romantic attraction for you or each other. Any future selections which include or allude to such feelings cannot be chosen, and must be re-rolled if selected randomly.

You’ve still got a family chock full of issues, but incestuous urges aren’t one of them.

Gambler’s High [+2]

Ah the thrill of leaving things to chance! Who could resist the sheer excitement of leaving their life in the hands of Lady Luck?

From this point onwards when you reach a section with the option to roll you MUST take the gamble. Those sections are Chosen Kin, Relationship Status, Awakening Age, When and Where, and Complications.

1. Black Sheep

Ordinarily even surly sorts would soften to their family, but that’s not the case for this one.

Whatever their prior disposition, this Chosen Kin has refused to be part of your strange new family. Reasons will vary, but unless you invest a great deal of constant effort? Drawing affection from this one will be like pulling blood from a stone.

2. Foggy Memories

The mind can be such a finicky thing. It appears one of your Chosen Kin does not remember most of her past life. While she’s maintained her personality this is a truly fresh start for her. Maybe there’s a way to reclaim her old memories? But maybe not.

It should be noted that this can be applied to yourself instead of a Chosen Kin, should you so desire. The first time it’ll erase your knowledge of the setting and your Chosen Kin’s histories. For an additional point you’ll have the same fresh start your Chosen Kin would get from this Complication.

3. Unhealthy Attraction

While the love between your Chosen Kin already approaches what others would consider strange for family, this member of your Chosen Kin takes it quite a bit further than that. To the point that it’d be no exaggeration to call this an unhealthy obsession.

If you’d like this Complication to grant an additional point though... Are you familiar with the term “yandere”? Don’t worry if that word is unfamiliar. You’ll be getting a very intimate example in the near future.

4. Painful Secret

Everyone has things they’d rather others didn’t discover. That goes double for one of your Chosen Kin. Did they fall into substance abuse? Have they committed some horrible crime? Did they become a vampire or some other tainted creature?

Whatever the case may be they’re suffering from this secret and will go to great lengths ensuring nobody discovers it. Upon arrival you’ll forget ever receiving this Complication.

5. Codependency

It’s okay to rely on your family. What you and this Chosen Kin share has clearly gone WAY past that. To the point that life apart feels utterly impossible to imagine, let alone survive.

You can’t remember a single hour you have gone without each other’s company, let alone a day. If forced apart the strain upon both your mental states would be catastrophic to say the least.

6. Evil Indoctrination

Ah hell. Somehow this Chosen Kin has committed herself to an antagonist’s service! She still cares for you as family, but she also holds powerful loyalty for one of the most horrible people around.

Pulling her out of this dark place will be no easy feat. You may even need to defeat her boss before she’ll accept they were in the wrong. A task made more difficult by her being sworn to protect them.

7. Too Close For Comfort

This Chosen Kin really has no subtlety at all. Whether unable to control themselves or delighting in the risk of being caught they’ll rarely bother to even make token attempts at hiding your relationship. Better find some way to mask their affections or you’ll be walking into a minefield from those around you catching on.

8. Separated At Birth

Well this is bothersome. Seems one of you has awakened in an entirely different location from the others! Where is anyone’s guess, but they’ve arrived far away indeed.

Fortunately they should be able to recognize you or any of the Chosen Kin as family after a decent look. But good luck finding them to get that glance in the first place.

9. Painful Beginnings

How unfortunate! In the transition between planes you or a Chosen Kin has had issues transferring themselves between realities. Attempting to use their abilities causes them grievous illness, their body briefly rejecting a soul foreign to this world.

As a metaphysical condition curing this is likely to take years even with active efforts on your part. Until then, they'll be in actual agony whenever they’ve got to wield their power and for some time after.

10. Pregnancy

Oh! Seems you’ve already been getting frisky with one member of the Kin. Perhaps a touch too frisky considering that you’re now suffering the consequences of unprotected sex. Turns out horny screams of, "Cum inside, knock me up!" Are not actually connected to desire for the stresses of parenthood. Who knew?

Whatever you choose to do from here on out, it’d be smart to keep her opinion at the forefront of your mind. She’s the one who has to host this little creature until it's done growing after all.

11. Bad Influence

For all the love shared between you, there’s no denying this Chosen Kin has less than positive effects on those around her. Purposefully or not she draws the family into her own self destructive behavior, and there’s no signs that she’ll stop on her own.

Whether that takes the form of drunkenness, starting fights, or anything else, it’s up to you to pull her out of this hole. Preferably without letting yourself or anyone else get dragged down with her.

12. Unwanted Admirer

It shouldn’t be surprising that someone else would be drawn to the exceptional individuals that form your new family. Unfortunately this Chosen Kin has attained the interest of someone not so easily ignored as the rest of the masses. It could be a critical ally, vile enemy, or even the leader of a local state.

In any case this person wishes to claim one of your Kin for themselves, and they’ve absolutely got the power to do so unless you’re able to figure out a plan to stop them.

1. Birth

You’ll be there at the very beginning! Don’t fret over small quibbles like whether or not an infant’s brain can handle an adult’s consciousness. Such minor details won’t interfere with your time as a baby.

2. Childhood

Perhaps you’d prefer a touch more maturity. At this point you’re still far too young for any responsibilities outside of truly dire circumstances, but finally have at least a small measure of independence. No need to experience how it feels to have your diapers changed once again.

3. Adolescent

Ah but to experience the springtime of youth once more. Filled with vim, vigor, and unwise impulses! It’s meant to be a time of self discovery, so why not puzzle out how you aim to live this new life?

A local of your choice is now related to your group, though the connection will be rather faint. How much this link means depends on the character, but it gives you a powerful tool for forging further bonds of any sort with them in the future.

You’ve acquired a local magic system of your choice. Ki, Magic, Psychic powers, anything native to your new world. You also receive basic knowledge in how to use it. You’ll have to research more about the specifics of the system, though.

A special bloodline or ability that isn’t common to the general user needs either Nobility or Race Change to give you the appropriate lineage for the power. Further buys dedicated to the same power enhance your base power or let you buy a more powerful ability.

While you originally were able to choose your new form, it was somewhat limited to the shape of humanity. Or at least the shape humanity takes within your new world.

Now you’re able to pick any humanoid race native to your destination (yes, even Kryptonian or Saiyan if that’s the case). Legendary or extinct races are fair game as long as they actually existed at some point.

Choosing this perk several times makes you a hybrid of your chosen races. Human hybrids don’t need a second buy.

Incredible Potential

You are among the most powerful in your given race or local magic system by your age. You could be in the top 1% or… maybe even something like a Legendary Super Saiyan or a Super Devil.

It doesn’t give any actual knowledge on how to use that amount of power.

Prodigy

You can learn from a chosen field very quickly. The narrower your selection, the higher your talent, potential and starting point.

This can range from something supernatural like magic or superpowers, to mundane things like stealth and tactics.

For example, limiting your talent in magic to body reinforcement would let you advance far swifter than someone who picked the whole magical system. In fact, enforcing it as a strict limit would make you a monster within the history of the world.

Knowledge is power, and you have that in spades for a particular field of your choice. Engineering, medicine, science or even combat styles.

While Prodigy offers sheer talent, this gives your mind the knowledge of a master of your field.

Choose one supernatural energy source you possess. Where others possess a cup, masters claim a lake. Where masters claim a lake, you hold an ocean. But even oceans have shores and so it is that your reserves are not truly infinite either.

Access to vast power isn’t everything. While your recovery is swift enough to keep up with your vast reserves, making you a supernatural factory in your own right, you’ll have to work on how much of it you can control at once.

This level of power tends to influence your body and spirit in subtle ways, especially your presence to the supernatural inclined.
